the last of life
adorned by
sudden frost
There is beauty in dead flowers as well. A flower may even be pretty missing its petals. In the cocoon hides the last of its life, the fruit, the seeds, and they will bear new flowers in the spring and carry forward the species till next autumn, until they wither. Dried flowers seemed unattractive, yet the winter has given them its artistic exceptionality.
